GLI Viper Repeater Kit
This equipment has received Safety of Flight Approval from the United States Air Force Air Mobility Command Systems Group. GLI-VIPER provides GPS (including GPS supporting the Army’s modernization requirements) coverage within any aircraft. This means any handheld military or commercial GPS receivers, precision air drop guidance units and military free fall receivers acquire satellite signals inside the aircraft. The warfighter will have satellite connectivity and situational awareness prior to exiting an aircraft. A GPS receiver will experience no loss in signal coverage as it moves in or out of any aircraft equipped with GPS Live Inside. GPS 1×2 Military Tiny Qualified Splitter (MS12T)
A tiny qualified splitter that still delivers full-size performance, the MS12T is perfect for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or any other applications with size and weight constraints. It is standard configured with EMI Shielding, Waterproofing and is Hermetically Sealed for long-term durability in even the most rugged applications. The MS12T will allow the signal from one GPS antenna to be split between two GPS/GNSS devices. It can be configured to Pass DC from a connected receiver to also power an external GPS Antenna or both outputs can be DC blocked. Key Features The MS12T Tiny GPS Splitter is a one-input, two output GPS device in which the input from an active GPS antenna is split evenly between two receiving GPS units. Ideal for platforms requiring very small, lightweight, and/or low-power equipment (i.e. Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, UAV). The MS12T can be configured to pass DC from an RF output to the antenna input port in order to power an active GPS antenna. The second RF output is DC blocked and features a 200Ω resistive load to ground to simulate an antenna current draw for any receiver connected to that port. Both outputs can be specially configured to be DC Blocked upon request. The METRO is a primary signal controller for GPS retransmission. It is an L1 or L1/L2 smart amplifier, designed for all applications that provides a calibrated 1dBm incremental output power control. When used in conjunction with an active GPS receive antenna, it will retransmit GPS signals inside a building, hangar or any structure where GPS is not available. It can be used in an automated test environment or in a shielded room that needs L1 or L1/L2 signal. A user can easily use a push-button control to precisely determine the output power of the METRO signal. This reduces the need for multiple antennas, and multiple antenna cable runs, while lowering maintenance and installation costs.
