GLI Viper Repeater Kit
Safety Flight Approved This equipment has received Safety of Flight Approval from the United States Air Force Air Mobility Command Systems Group. GLI-VIPER provides GPS (including GPS supporting the Army’s modernization requirements) coverage within any aircraft. This means any handheld military or commercial GPS receivers, precision air drop guidance units and military free fall receivers acquire satellite signals inside the aircraft. The warfighter will have satellite connectivity and situational awareness prior to exiting an aircraft. A GPS receiver will experience no loss in signal coverage as it moves in or out of any aircraft equipped with GPS Live Inside. Based on technology developed for Boeing C17 Supports options not available in any other repeater Outperforms retransmission systems costing several thousand dollars more. GPS Retransmission technology developed by GPS Source, Inc. is currently utilized by Land Warrior units aboard Stryker, RG-33 and M1151 vehicles.
GPS 1×8 Military Qualified Splitter (MS18ISO)
Military Qualified The MS18ISO is a military qualified, one-input eight-output GPS splitter with a MIL-STD-704F compliant isolated power supply. A typical application involves an input from an active GPS roof antenna that is split evenly between eight GPS receivers/devices. The MS18ISO is standard configured to accept external DC input via the included 3-pin D38999 Mil DC power connector. The RF outputs, J2, J3, J4, J5,J6, J7, J8, and J9 are DC blocked standard and feature a 200 ohm DC load to simulate an antenna DC current draw for any receiver connected to that port.
GPS 1×8 Military Qualified Splitter (MS18)
Military Qualified This is a military qualified MS18 GPS splitter with one-input and eight-outputs. It typically finds application where an input from an active GPS roof antenna is split evenly between eight receiving GPS units. The MS18 can be configured to pass DC from an RF output (J2) to the antenna input port (J1) in order to power an active GPS antenna on that port. The remaining RF outputs (J3 thru J9) would feature a 200 Ohm DC load to simulate an antenna DC current draw for any receiver connected to that port. Alternatively, the MS18 can be configured with a MIL-STD-704 or MIL-STD-1275 compliant 28 VDC Power Supply that will power the active GPS antenna connected to J1.
GPS 1×4 Military Qualified Splitter (MS14)
Military Qualified This is a military qualified MS14 GPS splitter with one-input and four-outputs. It typically finds application where an input from an active GPS roof antenna is split evenly between four receiving GPS units. The MS14 can be configured to pass DC from an RF output (J2) to the antenna input port (J1) in order to power an active GPS antenna on that port. The remaining RF outputs (J3, J4, and J5) would feature a 200 Ohm DC load to simulate an antenna DC current draw for any receiver connected to that port. Alternatively, the MS14 can be configured with a MIL-STD-704 compliant 28 VDC Power Supply that will power the active GPS antenna connected to J1. Key Features Designed & manufactured to military specifications Includes waterproofing, EMI shielding, and hermetic sealing standard Amplified & passive versions available Passes GPS, Galileo, and GLONASS L1/L2, Protected GPS Excellent Gain Flatness Gain | L1 – L2 | < 2 dB
GPS 1×2 Military Qualified Splitter (MS12)
Military Qualified This is a military qualified GPS splitter with one-input and two outputs. It typically finds application where an input from an active GPS roof antenna is split evenly between two receiving GPS units. The MS12 can be configured to pass DC from an RF output (J2) to the antenna input port in order to power an active GPS antenna on that port. The remaining RF output would feature a 200 Ohm DC load to simulate an antenna DC current draw for any receiver connected to that port.Alternatively, the MS12 can be configured with a MIL-STD-704 compliant 28 VDC Power Supply that will power the active GPS antenna connected to J1.
GPS 2×2 Military Qualified Splitter (MS22)
Military Qualified The MS22 is a military qualified, two-input, two-output, GPS splitter which includes an antenna health sensor and an embedded antenna switch. Dual input ports allow the splitter to be connected to two GPS receive antennas. The sensor monitors the health of the primary antenna connected to the splitter. Based on the information provided by the sensor, the splitter will switch to the secondary antenna in the event of a failure with the primary antenna. If the failure in the primary is resolved, the splitter will automatically switch back to the primary. The embedded switch has been designed so it can be controlled externally. This external control can also override the internal automatic switch.
