This equipment has received Safety of Flight Approval from the United States Air Force Air Mobility Command Systems Group.

GLI-Diamondback provides GPS (including GPS supporting the Army’s modernization requirements) coverage within the cargo compartment of any small sized military aircraft. This means any handheld military or commercial GPS receivers, precision air drop guidance units and precision airborne receivers acquire satellite signals inside the cargo compartment. Delays in acquiring GPS position are a thing of the past. A GPS receiver will experience no loss in signal coverage as it moves out of an aircraft equipped with GPS Live Inside.

GPS Retransmission technology developed by GPS Source, Inc. is currently utilized by Land Warrior units aboard Stryker, RG-33 and M1151 vehicles.
